1. Why should I choose a Buyer’s Agent when considering the purchase of a home?

A good buyer’s agent has negotiated hundreds of contracts with success, with an understanding and experience on how to best slant the contract in favor of the buyer’s behalf.  A good buyer’s agent previews hundreds of homes each week, either in person or on paper. A good buyer’s agent should be willing to contact listing agent’s in your areas of interest, inquiring if they have any properties that are not on the market yet that may suit their pre-approved clients needs.  A good buyer’s agent should be willing to contact owners directly and in person if needed, selecting the properties based on the County Tax Roll that meet their clients needs, asking the seller not if they wish to sell but that they have a pre-approved or all cash buyer that is interested in their, the sellers’, home and if they would entertain an offer at any price. 1)  Get help.   Your home is likely to represent one of the largest investments in your life.  In order to make sure the transaction goes smoothly, it is of vital importance that you choose the right agent to represent your interests.

2)  Get pre-approved.  Do you already know how much home you can afford?  There is nothing more frustrating than looking for a home, finding the perfect home and then discovering it is out of your price range.  Speak with a lender to learn about different financing options available to you.
