Thank You to Our Nation’s Military

As this Memorial Day comes to a close, The Kaplan Office would like to take this opportunity to thank all active and retired military personnel and their families for service to our country.  We would also like to share our sincerest gratitude for those service men and women who have given their lives in support of this nation.

Introduction to San Marcos in North County San Diego

Recently I had reached a crossroads with a new client as we were not finding homes that fit their “first-time home buyer” vision.  Ideally they wanted detached, good condition, two-story, high 300’s to mid 400’s and among neighbors who shared pride of ownership in their own homes.  In addition, they preferred to be within North County as they spend most of their time in the area.  We spent the first couple of weekends looking at many homes, but were not finding any that made them excited.  We were not quite ready to compromise on criteria, but needed to start moving in a positive direction.  The community of San Marcos provided us with that direction.

Although our team helps buyers find property throughout all of San Diego County, I had very little personal experience in San Marcos.  Read the rest of this entry »
